Clarendon Parker Bahrain has grown up. One of the longest standing Recruitment Consultancies in the Kingdom has branched out on its own and has doubled its staff in the meantime. Newly appointed Operations Manager, Cara Houshmand said,
“Clarendon Parker Bahrain started out as a franchise of Clarendon Parker Middle East 2003; however, the parent company have been bought by a global entity and we felt that now was the right time to become an independent company-- our foundations are established and we have a good foothold in the market.” CP Bahrain, as it is affectionately known, started off with 73 candidates and only a handful of clients in 2003. Now, in addition to search engines with hundreds of thousands of candidates world-wide, Clarendon Parker Bahrain’s private database has 15,000 candidates and the client database has the most prestigious companies in Bahrain on its books.

Cara, an American national, previously lived and worked in Dubai in a startup venture gaining valuable Gulf experience.  Prior to coming to the GCC Cara she worked as an Operations Manager in various states in the US including: Washington DC, Virginia, Nebraska and Texas. Additionally she has extensive experience in the oil and gas sector. As the Operations Manager at Clarendon Parker Bahrain, she is currently responsible for the managing the team and all aspects of the business. Cara holds a Master’s of Public Administration from the University of Nebraska and a BA of International Studies and French from Texas A&M University.  She stated, “It is an exciting time to be in the recruitment business as Bahrain is booming.”  She continued, “Clarendon Parker Bahrain brings a personal touch to recruitment and we have developed good relationships with both our candidates and clients over the years.  We are unique in the fact that all local candidates have a face to face interview before we send their CV to the client; we look at the fit between people and companies, not just job descriptions and CV’s.  Our consultants bring wealth of industry experience and each specialize in their respective fields which covers: Finance, Engineering, Construction, I.T, Telecom, H.R, Administration and Sales & Marketing. Our team has grown and matured; Susan Welch, a long standing employee, was promoted to Sr. Consultant, and we have recently employed Nada Najem as Recruitment Consultant for the H.R/Admin desk; she has a wealth of experience in HR, making her the seventh member of the team.”

CP Bahrain has launched a new website to coincide with their independence. www.Clarendonparkerbahrain.com is the place to register if you are looking for a new job, registration is free and you can apply for jobs online in total confidence.  If you have already registered previously, you don’t need to register again, but visit the website often as new job opportunities are added daily.

“We wanted to re-brand and re-launch, we have the same values and passion as we have always had, and we have built our reputation on our service and established ourselves onto the market as one of the leading recruiters in the Kingdom of Bahrain. We know our market and we know our candidates!”
